The Bible Has The Answer

2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

God*s reproof, correction, instruction, perfection, provision and power. What more do we need?

I sometimes jokingly say that I know all the answers, I just get the questions mixed up. But there is a lot of truth to that. God never gets the questions or the answers mixed up. The Bible has the answer to every necessary and relevant question that men might ask. The phrase Jesus answered appears in the four gospels about 80 or 85 times. Many of the times when Jesus answered no one had asked a question. Jesus knew the questions that men needed to ask and had the answers before they were asked and many times even when they were not asked. Whatever answer men needed, Jesus had it. And whatever answer men need, the Bible has it. We will have to study the Bible to find God*s answers. The less individuals study the Bible, the less right answers they will have. They will wander from one wrong decision to another. We will not learn all of God*s answers in one day. But seeking them is the right path. Even his mistakes will not do great harm to a seeker of God*s will. Sometimes we will make mistakes. Our mistakes can be forgiven and we can learn from them.

Psalms 37:24: Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Matthew 6:8b: . . . your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

When men do not need an answer or have the wrong question, God knows it. When the Bible seems not to have the specific answer to our daily issues, the answer is always in the principles taught in the Bible. One principle is that when God*s children need specific guidance, they can have it. When men insist on their own way, in other words, when they are sinning, they will not get God*s answer. When they are willing to leave the choices up to Him, they will always get His right answer. When they are willing to leave the choices up to Him, they will always have His guidance, whether they remember they have it or not.

Jeremiah 10:23: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

The only guidance that unbelievers get from the Lord is that He tries to guide them to Jesus. He gives them opportunities to receive His Son. After they have received Jesus and sincerely want His will for their lives, they will have His guidance every step of the way.
